HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I am so excited to have 2010 underway :) I hope everyone had a safe and great time out this weekend. My friends and I have a ritual of trying a new restaurant every year and this was no different. We started out meeting at the hotel, motel, Holiday Innnnnnnnn  - no wait, it was the Marriott.. anyhoo.. met there and then ventured out!!! ha ha ha First stop was for our 8:45 pm reservation at HOME in Buckhead. It was so much fun! The place is so cute, the ambience perfectly toned not too loud or too quiet and the food is brought in fresh daily so the menu is constantly changing. I had the special which was the lobster tail (above) and it was beyond good. I could have had 2 but that is no way to start off the new year lol. So we wined and dined and had a private room for just the 7 of us. Next, we usually go to a club or lounge to actually ring in the new year but this year was different. We went to a place called Ten Pin Alley in Atlantic Station. This is not your average bowling alley. This is a lounge/ bowling alley. They have black leather couches at your lanes, a light show, a dance floor, a huge fully stocked bar ( yes we even had champagne at midnight) and a d.j.! We all had a great time and laughed endlessly. I can not recommend wearing the bowling shoes with anything ha ha ha ha ha. I wore a vintage slip dress and purse, H&M sequin shorts, Miss Sixty shoes, Leggs tights, Charlotte Russe Faux fur coat and earrings from Target.

  1. I love those shoes and that fuzzy coat! Beautiful, your eye make up is also outstanding! How did you get it to blend so well?? Oh and I love bowling too ;)

  2. Thank you! I just used a dark grey on the crease and light grey everywhere else and went to town with the brushes ha ha ha ha...
