"Minx" and Maxi

The dress is "Missoni-ish" from my H&M spree I mentioned last post. So comfy and I even have an asymetrical sweater in this same print from the f/w collection, which would go perfectly over this. We did have 70 degree weather for a brief moment this weekend and did not need a jacket or sweater or shoes apparently....but ah yes a hat was a must :) F21 and less floppy than the usual suspects we are seeing of late. Last night I also did my own nails. I have been wanting to try the "Minx" nails but the price is OUCH. Sooooo on true form to me, wait a little while and whaddayaknow... Walgreens had these Broadway Nails for a fiver ($5.00). 28 stickers so you can get 2 times out of the pack. So far so good. Easy to put on, I swear, and I am not one of those that can paint both hands easily lol. I also put a top coat on so let's see how long these suckers last before I start singing the praises wholeheartedly. Happy Monday all - already Feb.?!?!

Zebra Girl

Yeah mirror pics - sometimes they can be ok - these not so much, but wanted to show my new H&M stuff... some of it. I went a little wild in there but who can stop with $25.00 dresses etc? I bought 2 dresses, these pants, this striped sweater, a classic white shirt and all of it is black and white! hahahah. Shoes are from TJ Maxx. These pants are uber comfy with a satiny feel, pockets, drop crotch, elastic waist and hidden ankle zippers so you can make the bottom loose or fitted. I will be wearing these A LOT :)

Wilde About Gucci

How gorgeous does Olivia Wilde look in her Gucci Spring 11 jumpsuit? I WANT! Let the bargain hunt begin: hmmmm I do have harem pants, so I need low cut green top and piece of blue silk fabric.... ....

Keep Inspiring Me...

I pulled this pic from The Killing Moon last year... loved it since I regularly draw tattoos on myself in sharpie lately. I have 4 real ones and that may be enough :)
Anna Dello Russo - who else? :)
 Feather dress from ASOS.
Frida G from FGR. Love those stars under the eyes - do we think they are stickers or drawn on?
Daphne Guinness - bold beauty on the cover of Zoo....

Self Portrait(s)

Can you tell we were iced in for 4days?? hahaha Back to regular outfit posting soon (aka fashion) - although I am not complaining. It was fun to not really get dressed for that many days!

Wearing vintage slip and gifted necklace. Makeup is kept light and unfussy with CoverGirl Simply Ageless blush in plush peach, Maybelline gold shadow, Rimmel Exaggerate eyeliner in noir, Maybelline Great Lash mascara in blackest black, Revlon Brow Fantasy in light brown, Tarte Lipsurgence in lucky, and Revlon Beyond Natural lipgloss in nude.

Day 2 of being iced in and the snow has started to come down yet again! I could either get really creative since I am forced to be inside or begin a case of cabin fever. I choose the former. Thank God I have a roof, food and warmth. Our power has managed to stay on - this is nothing compared to some of the devastations taking place in other parts of the world right now so off with the negative thoughts that no one really cares about and on to one topic we all care about: fashion! :) Sometimes I really have no explanation for why I put items together. I feel 80's ish with my bandana and moppy hair but also nineties British with my F21 silver heels and Red by Mark Echo sweats. Yeah I know those aren't "cool" - but the beauty of coming into my own is that I no longer care to hide that I am wearing a Wal-Mart bra (but oh how cute is the leopard print and neon pink straps!?) and an H&M top and F21 bow ring and a faux fur from Charlotte Russe. I wear what feels right and what feels good and this my friends..... feels good.

Girl About Town

MAC: Girl About Town Lipstick...... loving the "honeysuckle" that is out for SS 11.... universally flattering!

Mimi and Red

Lately I have become a little bored with my regular online shops, not that they are to blame - it is my fashion fickleness. I try to search out online boutiques that may carry different lines than the region I live in. Introducing MIMI and RED. They are located in CA, USA, but rejoice we can all shop there without enduring the TSA. I would just about live in the grey jumper above. The prices are not that bad. They seem to be able to appease everyone! The colorful dress and blue romper are perfect for dreaming of up coming holidays or just to get ready for SS 11 - it is almost time :) So no marketing or hype or freebies for me.. I just actually like their site... go ahead and visit.. it won't hurt.

you send chills down my spine

Wearing a locally designed sweater from Aiken SC. It is the cutest town with some gems for shopping, surprisingly. Paired with ASOS Velvet pants, F21 boots, and Charlotte Russe faux fur.
